I can feel the wind go by when I run, it feels good, it feels fast. Evelyn Ashford

So girls, you all ROCKED THE WIND TODAY. To stay inside and hear it can certainly be intimidating, but to get out in it and feel it and fight it is invigorating. It's alive! It gets your heart beating faster, the deep guts in you as you push yourself up the hills with the wind trying to push you down...but it doesn't win, you take it over.
What is necessary to have during these windy, cold days? A good face mask (neck gaiter, buff, even a scarf), windbreaker, possibly goggles (as someone mentioned today!! Ha!...and GUTS.
Days like these, so easy to stay inside and resort to the treadmill...same old same old. But getting out in this brings you life! I'll have to say, after watching these tough girls toughen it out up the hills...I want to go back out in it!
Be willing to be uncomfortable, be comfortable being uncomfortable, it may get tough but its a small price to pay to living a dream. Peter McWilliams
