Thankfully, we have snow today! This time of year is very tricky on what to wear with clothes, with shoes. Yesterday was very icy, muddy, just messy. Today, a nice layer of snow to coat the trails.
I enjoyed a wonderful run with the ultraboys...starting out with Ryan, then Ryan and Skip, then Ryan, Skip and Matt, then Skip and Matt, then Matt.....total mileage for the day...40 (including an additional treadmill run at home to round up the number). A great trail run with the boys - nice to talk about our goals for 2010 - our break and recover for the last month, both mentally and physically...and now, to get ready to build up! So lucky to have this awesome group to catch up on things and keep eachother motivated.
And now, the kids are screaming "Lets Go" - so off to the sled hills we go - and then, slapping on those xcskiis...I hear a winterstorm is coming our way - very excited!
