A Little Twist of the Training....

Well, just when you think everything is under control...someone gets sick...and with 5 little ones, its bound to happen. My beautiful daughter, on her birthday - gets the flu and pneumonia..out of the blue! 4 doses of medicine later and she seems back to herself. My how meds work. I too, have been treated for the flu just to assure that I stay healthy for my adventure next week.
So, due to being house bound, and not being able to run outdoors...I took a trip on "the road to nowhere". I am not crazy about treadmills, but thankfully I have a great imagination. My 1hour workout turned into 4-25 min workouts - each with some speed and hills. And I was climbing the highest mountains, running through deep forests, over creeks, through canyons...and then, back to piles of laundry!
"Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere" Albert Einstein
Good workout, and thankful I have that option! Need to get that pedometer, I know I am clocking more miles in this house.
Not to get down about being in the house, I always go to "quotes" to lift me up. Quotes, simple lines here and there that leave you pondering about deeper thoughts. So, I thought I would share some with you -
"If we are growing, we are always going to be out of our comfort zone" John Maxwell
"The key to change is to let go of fear" Rosanne Cash
"God places the heaviest burden on those who can carry its weight" Reggie White
"A ship is safe in harbor, but that's not what ships are for" William Shedd
"A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity, an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty" Winston Churchill
LOVE THIS ONE: "Great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, small minds discuss people" Eleanor Roosevelt
LOVE THIS ONE TOO!... "Do what you feel in your heart to be right, for you'll be criticized anyway. You'll be damned if you do, and damned if you don't." Love Eleanor Roosevelt!
"Once we accept our limits, we go beyond them" Albert Einstein
Hope you enjoyed these quotes and ponder on them....we have so much more in us than we are capable of. What'cha got in you?
